Editorial Guidelines
Cmd+Growth is my weekly newsletter and website covering SEO, AI search, PPC, social media and digital marketing.
I created Cmd+Growth because I was already spending hours every week reading industry news, platform updates, studies and discussions. Instead of keeping those insights to myself, I decided to curate and share them with other marketers.
My Mission
My goal is simple: help marketers stay informed without having to spend hours scrolling through news sites, LinkedIn and X posts, Reddit threads and company announcements.
Every week, I try to find the stories, updates and ideas that are actually worth paying attention to.
How I Choose Stories
I focus on developments that could realistically affect marketers, agencies, publishers, creators and businesses.
This includes:
- Google Search and Google updates
- AI search and AI assistants
- SEO and content marketing
- PPC and paid advertising
- Social media platforms
- Marketing tools and technology
- Industry studies and research
- Interesting discussions from practitioners and experts
I don’t try to cover everything. I try to cover what matters.
My Approach
Cmd+Growth is not a breaking news publication.
Most weeks, I review dozens of articles, reports, discussions and announcements before deciding what makes it into the newsletter.
My goal is not just to repeat news but to provide context and explain why a story matters.
Accuracy and Corrections
I make every reasonable effort to verify information before publishing.
If I get something wrong, I want to know about it.
If you spot an error or believe something is inaccurate, please contact me diana@cmdgrowth.com.
Confirmed mistakes may be corrected, clarified or updated.
Sources
Whenever possible, I link to original sources, studies, research papers, company announcements and publicly available data.
I generally prefer primary sources over second-hand reporting.
AI Use
I use AI tools to help with research, organization or editing.
Story selection, editorial decisions, analysis and final publication remain human-led.
I do not publish AI-generated content without review.
Independence
Cmd+Growth is independently operated.
Sponsors, advertisers and affiliate relationships do not determine which stories I cover or how I cover them.
If content is sponsored, I will clearly disclose it.
